Junior Media Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a creative Junior Media Marketing Assistant to support Sakaban Restaurant’s visual storytelling across social media and promotional channels. You will work closely with the marketing team to produce engaging photo and video content that showcases our menu, events, and brand personality.

Key responsibilities

• Capture high‑quality photos and short videos of dishes, events, and daily restaurant activities.
• Operate cameras, lighting kits, and basic shooting equipment to create compelling visual assets.
• Assist in planning, scripting, and producing content for social platforms.
• Edit short‑form videos for Reels, TikTok and other social media formats.
• Create and edit simple graphics for marketing materials using tools such as Canva.
• Organise and maintain a digital library of photo and video files for easy access.
• Coordinate with the marketing team during promotions and events to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Ensure all visual output aligns with Sakaban’s brand guidelines and communication style.

Required profile

• Entry‑level or up to 1 year of experience in media, videography or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and photography/videography techniques.
• Ability to edit photos and videos using tools such as CapCut, Photoshop or Canva.
• Creative mindset, strong eye for composition and visual details.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams).
• A portfolio or examples of previous work is a plus.
