IT Security Manager (SOC)

About the role

The IT Security Operations (SOC) Manager will lead enterprise‑wide security event identification, triage, and remediation. You will coordinate with internal IT and security teams, manage incident classification, and ensure timely resolution of security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SOC operations, investigations and incident response activities.
• Develop, maintain and report SOC metrics via dashboards and regular reports.
• Design, test and improve playbooks and tabletop exercises for cyber‑threat response.
• Manage vendor relationships, SLA compliance and service delivery from SOC‑managed service providers.
• Oversee SIEM platform administration, rule creation, alert tuning and system hardening.
• Produce post‑incident documentation, dashboards and compliance reports (e.g., TCRMG, ISO 18788).
• Coordinate annual red‑team exercises, budget estimations for tools, and KPI tracking for the SOC team.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT application security or SOC environments.
• Strong leadership, communication (English and Khmer) and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and vendor relationships.

Required skills

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with LogRhythm, QRadar, ArcSight, McAfee ePO, Exabeam or similar tools.
• Advanced correlation rule development and SIEM administration.
• System hardening and vulnerability assessment techniques.
• Incident response planning and execution.
