Inventory Officer

About the role

The Inventory Officer ensures that inventory records are accurate and up‑to‑date, supporting smooth warehouse operations and product availability. This role monitors stock movements, conducts regular audits, and works to minimise discrepancies across all inventory activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system, recording receipts, transfers, returns and issuances promptly.
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts and full physical inventory audits, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels to support business operations, identifying slow‑moving, obsolete or damaged items.
• Verify incoming and outgoing inventory against documentation and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Prepare inventory, stock status and variance analysis reports, highlighting trends and recommending improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, accounting or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations or stock management.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
