Head of Sales

About the role

The Head of Sales will shape and execute HSC Group’s annual sales strategy, aligning it with the company’s broader business objectives. This senior position drives revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability across all sales channels in the FMCG sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the yearly sales plan, including quarterly and monthly targets and budgets.
• Identify new business opportunities, distribution channels, and market expansion strategies.
• Set sales targets by region, territory, channel, and product category and monitor performance.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform strategy.
• Lead regular sales review meetings, track KPIs, and apply corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate closely with marketing on trade promotions, product launches, and consumer campaigns.
• Oversee volume, value, and distribution objectives across General Trade, Modern Trade, Wholesale, and Key Accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 10–15 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record in developing growth‑focused sales strategies and achieving revenue and market‑share targets.
• Extensive experience managing large, geographically dispersed sales teams.
• Strong background in distributor management, sales forecasting, budgeting, and commercial planning.
• Preferable deep understanding of the Cambodian FMCG market.
