Head of Marketing

About the role

NIYUM TRADING CO., LTD. is seeking a dynamic Head of Marketing to lead its marketing function from its Phnom Penh headquarters. The role is full‑time, on‑site and responsible for shaping the brand’s presence across Cambodia and supporting the company’s import‑export activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy, including brand positioning, digital and traditional campaign planning.
• Lead market planning activities, analyse market trends and customer insights to inform product promotion.
• Manage the marketing team, providing mentorship, performance tracking and resource allocation.
• Coordinate closely with sales, operations and key partners to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee marketing budgets, monitor campaign performance metrics and report results to senior management.
• Drive public relations initiatives, media relations and corporate communications to enhance brand reputation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in market planning, marketing management and comprehensive strategy development.
• Strong background in market research and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
• Understanding of sales processes and experience aligning marketing efforts with sales targets.
• Experience in public relations, brand reputation management and corporate communications.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; advanced degree or certifications a plus.
• Experience in import/export, FMCG or distribution sectors in Cambodia or the region is advantageous.
