Fleet Frontline Supervisor

About the role

The Fleet Frontline Supervisor oversees daily fleet operations to ensure safe, efficient, and customer‑focused transportation services. This role coordinates trip planning, vehicle allocation, driver deployment, GPS monitoring and operational support to meet client demands while optimizing fleet utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily fleet operations, ensuring timely service delivery and resolving issues promptly.
• Plan and schedule vehicle and driver assignments based on client requirements.
• Monitor GPS systems to maintain trip visibility, route compliance and investigate deviations.
• Address client service issues and ensure contractual requirements are met.
• Manage driver performance, attendance and compliance, providing coaching and briefings.
• Coordinate resources with maintenance teams to keep the fleet ready and available.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards and company policies.
• Track operational KPIs, prepare performance reports and recommend improvements.
• Lead and develop the frontline and GPS monitoring teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet operations, transportation or logistics.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Proven experience using GPS tracking and fleet management systems.
