Executive Chef – Lead Culinary Operations

About the role

Avani’s FCC Angkor hotel is looking for an accomplished Executive Chef to direct culinary operations across two restaurants and a bar. You will shape the dining experience by blending international influences with authentic Cambodian flavors while upholding the brand’s high standards of quality and service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen activities for two restaurants and one bar, ensuring consistency in food quality, presentation, and service.
• Develop and refresh contemporary menus that integrate local ingredients and culinary heritage.
• Manage food cost, menu engineering, and profitability while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, food safety, and FSMS/HACCP standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse culinary team, fostering creativity and continuous learning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior culinary leadership within hotel or resort environments.
• Strong understanding of Cambodian ingredients and international culinary trends.
• Ability to drive operational excellence and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
• Excellent communication and team‑building skills.
