Desktop Support Engineer – On‑site Quarterly Visits

About the role

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide on‑site technical assistance to end users in Phnom Penh on a quarterly basis. The role involves hands‑on installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of desktop computers, laptops, peripherals and related software.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 1–2 on‑site visits per quarter to install, configure and maintain desktop PCs, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating system and basic network issues.
• Set up, configure and troubleshoot printers and resolve connectivity problems.
• Manage incident tickets in an IT service‑desk environment, adhering to agreed service levels and ITIL processes.
• Coordinate with other IT teams to support network connectivity, user access and security policies.
• Document solutions, update asset records and assist with deployments, moves, upgrades and secure disposal of equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in desktop support, including hardware installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, OS and basic networking issues.
• Hands‑on experience with printer setup and problem resolution.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL or similar support processes.
• Clear communication in English and ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical users.
• Physical ability to lift and move computer equipment safely.
• Completed onboarding/knowledge transfer for the specific account.
