Credit Training Specialist

About the role

The Credit Training Specialist will design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive training programs for credit‑related staff at our Head Office in Phnom Penh. The role ensures that employees acquire the knowledge and skills needed to meet credit function objectives and maintain high performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and deliver day‑to‑day training sessions for onboarding and existing credit staff.
• Develop e‑learning courses and associated assessments to enable self‑paced learning.
• Collaborate with the Instructional Design team to create and update training materials aligned with business needs.
• Monitor training outcomes, conduct evaluations, and report progress to the Head of Credit Training Unit.
• Lead the creation of additional programs such as coaching, leadership, and practical skill courses for middle‑level management.
• Perform Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and design targeted programs based on identified gaps.
• Deliver on‑field and online coaching to strengthen key competencies.
• Regularly review and refresh training content to reflect the latest credit policies and directives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, management, accounting, business, economics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in credit training within the financial industry, or 3 years of credit experience in a bank or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of credit policies, procedures, and techniques.
• Proven ability in lesson planning, classroom management, and effective training delivery.
