Credit Review Officer

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Credit Review Officer to join our credit team. The role focuses on post‑approval loan monitoring, collateral verification and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review loan purpose and conduct standard credit reviews for SME, corporate and strategic loan portfolios with outstanding balances of USD 200,000 or more.
• Assess loan delinquency (DPD < 90 days) and evaluate any restructuring proposals for normalization or capitalization.
• Monitor credit quality, identify emerging risks and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Verify adherence to loan policies, procedures and NBC regulations across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with branch credit analysts to evaluate customer business and collateral locations according to management guidelines.
• Support senior officers in preparing consolidated case files for Credit Committee approval.
• Analyse customer financial situations and recommend risk‑mitigation measures to senior management.
• Identify documentation gaps, conduct site visits for suspicious loans and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of banking experience in roles such as Loan Officer, Loan Analyst or Loan Control.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Highly motivated, committed and effective communicator.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
