Building & Infrastructure and Industry Manager

About the role

The Building & Infrastructure and Industry Manager will lead project execution, business development and administrative functions for Bureau Veritas in Cambodia. This senior position requires overseeing complex civil engineering and industrial projects while driving growth with key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project execution strategies, ensure quality control, cost control and on‑time completion.
• Supervise project progress, lead progress meetings, coordinate with internal departments and monitor material specifications.
• Manage project budgets and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Create action plans for key national and international accounts, work with the Business Development Manager to generate new leads, and prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders.
• Maintain relationships with sector authorities, technical centers, and other Business Lines to secure support.
• Support recruitment, prepare monthly and WIP reports, and coordinate with HR and Finance for smooth site operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; dual technical‑commercial education preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in processes industry, manufacturing, building & infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract conditions, health & safety regulations and local authority requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to interact with senior client management.
• Fluent English (mandatory); Cambodian, Chinese or French a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce.
