MEP Supervisor – Construction Projects

About the role

The MEP Supervisor will lead the supervision and coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and ELV works across retail and commercial projects. This role ensures that all MEP installations meet approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, budgets, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate MEP designs, drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Supervise on‑site MEP works, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection, and ELV systems.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Identify design clashes and coordinate solutions with consultants, contractors, architects, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and contractor performance.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover, and defect rectification of MEP systems.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and company requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in MEP design, supervision, construction, or project engineering, preferably on commercial buildings, malls, retail, or large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, and relevant technical standards.
• Ability to work on‑site and coordinate multiple contractors and stakeholders.
• Good command of English and strong leadership, problem‑solving, and project management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit/BIM.
• Experience reviewing MEP drawings, BOQ, specifications, and technical documents.
• Understanding of construction practices and technical standards for MEP systems.
