Biomedical Engineer

About the role

Orienda Polyclinic and Maternity is seeking a full‑time Biomedical Engineer to join its clinical engineering team at the Orienda International Hospital in Stueng Mean Chey. You will ensure that all medical devices are safely installed, fully functional, and compliant with national and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission a wide range of medical equipment.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of devices.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in collaboration with clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Support equipment procurement, evaluation, and supplier coordination.
• Provide training to hospital staff on proper equipment use.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical engineering processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in biomedical/clinical engineering within a healthcare environment.
• Hands‑on experience with medical equipment installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare standards, regulations, and hospital workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
