Automotive Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead our dealership sales team. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, coaching staff, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and supervise a team of automotive salespeople.
• Set sales targets, monitor progress and motivate the team to exceed quotas.
• Coach sales staff on best practices for closing vehicle deals and provide ongoing performance guidance.
• Forecast monthly and quarterly sales and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Address customer inquiries and issues when needed.
• Organise and lead regular sales meetings.
• Develop and manage a CRM platform to retain customers and generate new leads.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and compile regular performance reports for management.
• Travel to other provinces as required.

Required profile

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in Sales, Marketing or Management.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a sales role at an automotive dealership.
• Proven knowledge of effective sales strategies and a track record of exceeding quotas.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Outgoing, service‑oriented attitude with knowledge of inventory control and management.
