Assistant to Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Assistant to Maintenance Manager will support the maintenance department by handling procurement, supplier coordination, and customs clearance activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in exploring new market sources for goods and services and reviewing specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotes based on approved purchase requests, prepare quote analyses and support management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and service compliance with purchase orders and contracts.
• Update supplier and price databases, track sources, contacts and addresses, and keep records current.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments, customs clearance and ensure on‑time processing.
• Handle issues such as defective goods, damages, returns and communicate status to requestors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with procurement in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong teamwork ability in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.
