Assistant Compensation & Benefits Manager

About the role

The Assistant Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Manager will support the design, implementation and maintenance of the group’s total rewards framework. Based in Phnom Penh, this full‑time, on‑site position works closely with HR, finance and business unit leaders to ensure fair, competitive and compliant compensation and benefits programmes across all businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with job evaluation exercises and keep compensation structures up to date.
• Coordinate benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Cambodian labour regulations.
• Lead the monthly payroll process, reviewing attendance, overtime, leave, deductions and allowances.
• Develop and maintain salary grades, conduct annual salary reviews and market benchmarking.
• Manage employee benefits, allowances, bonuses, commissions and incentive schemes, especially for retail operations.
• Prepare regular C&B reports on salary benchmarks, internal equity and benefits utilisation.
• Support annual review cycles and address compensation‑related queries from managers.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of compensation, benefits and payroll processes.
• Experience in developing salary structures and conducting market salary surveys.
• Knowledge of Cambodian labour regulations and C&B compliance requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with HR, finance and business leaders.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
