Assistant Accountant (Admin Assistant)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant who will support the finance team by handling daily transactions, vendor payments and expense reimbursements. The role combines bookkeeping duties with administrative support to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in line with accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly tax returns and assist with annual financial statements for the Director.
• Process vendor payments, company transactions and expense reimbursement requests.
• Post expense and revenue entries accurately in the accounting system.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register and oversee bookkeeping for all company transactions.
• Issue invoices and billing statements to customers.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P).
• Perform other related accounting tasks as assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and stay highly self‑motivated.
