Architectural Designer

About the role

KEH Construction is seeking a creative Architectural Designer to develop building layouts, 3‑D models and construction documents. You will work closely with clients, engineers and project managers to turn design concepts into buildable solutions while respecting aesthetics, budgets and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients to capture project goals, style preferences and budget constraints.
• Produce floor plans, 3‑D models and detailed blueprints using Revit, SketchUp and CAD software.
• Ensure initial concepts comply with local building codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with structural engineers and construction crews to verify feasibility.
• Visit construction sites to take measurements and monitor progress.
• Support the manager in developing architectural solutions from concept through construction documentation.
• Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections and detail drawings.
• Assist in creating concept and schematic design packages.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Design or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of CAD, SketchUp and Revit.
• Understanding of structural engineering principles, building materials and local regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the city and province for site visits.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, clients and industry partners.
