Airline Security Manager

About the role

AirAsia Cambodia is looking for an experienced Airline Security Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, monitoring and control of security operations across all stations in Cambodia. The role acts as the main link between AirAsia Cambodia and the local regulator, manages security policies and compliance with legislation, regulations and Group requirements, and serves as the Air Carrier Management Representative (ACMR).

Key responsibilities

• Keep up to date with current and future legislation and ensure compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
• Work with airline personnel, contractors and other stakeholders on security compliance, procedures and planning.
• Organise risk reporting, prepare management reports and escalate issues when needed.
• Oversee the selection, training, evaluation and recommendations for security personnel, and run security awareness and training programmes locally and internationally.
• Assess threats and vulnerabilities, analyse trends, review inspection reports and respond to emergencies and station-specific security needs.
• Appoint and quality-control security contractors, and liaise with local and international agencies on security best practice.
• Develop the annual plan and budget for the sub-department and manage internal and external security training.
• Assess and audit external service providers, report breaches and non-compliance to the Chief of Security, and keep the Chief informed of regulatory changes.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of security experience in the aviation industry.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Excellent spoken and written English; strong leadership, people management and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: AVSEC Management and ICAO National Auditor certifications, and ICAO Aviation Security National Instructor certification.
