Security Manager - 5-Star Resort

About the role

Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort, a 5-star property near Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, is looking for a Security Manager. The role looks after the safety and well-being of guests and colleagues, trains staff on security and safety, and holds full responsibility for emergency response plans.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and colleagues, preventing harm caused by unsafe conditions or acts
• Train all colleagues and officers on security and safety, with full responsibility for Emergency Response Plans
• Implement, develop and maintain training on fire and evacuation response, including practical firefighting, and on outside threat response plans
• Keep all security officers informed about existing training programmes set by the Director of Security
• Know all response plans, crisis management plans and immediate actions
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Local SOPs for the Security department
• Train, educate and orient security officers under your direct responsibility, impart ACCOR policies, procedures and the Code of Ethics
• Take part in Health and Safety meetings and contribute to the Security Department's improvement with written recommendations to the Director of Security
• Liaise with government authorities and stay familiar with all regulations
• Control security shifts professionally and responsibly

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years in security management
• Diploma or certification in security programmes or law enforcement
• Able to adapt to a multi-national environment
• Proficient English

Required skills

• Fire safety certification
• First aid certification
• Occupational Health and Safety certification highly regarded
