Actuarial Pricing Manager

About the role

The Actuarial Pricing Manager provides accurate product and pricing support for new and existing insurance products, oversees product implementation, and assists with a range of actuarial tasks. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure product launches and enhancements are aligned with actuarial models and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and propose product pricing templates based on market and sales propositions.
• Prepare product approval documents, user requirements, and related materials before launch.
• Collaborate with sales, client service, and other departments to ensure product understanding from quotation to policy issuance.
• Conduct UAT testing on iPos and IL systems to verify premium calculations, surrender values, policy submissions, and related processes.
• Review training, regulatory, and marketing materials for alignment with pricing models.
• Track new product performance post‑launch and support day‑2 changes such as payment mode or sum‑insured adjustments.
• Manage the corporate solution quotation operation, including distribution, special quote handling, and process enhancements.
• Provide actuarial support for compensation scheme revisions, persistency calculations, and other customer‑service queries.

Required profile

• Nearly qualified actuary (SOA, IFoA or equivalent); full qualification is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills for internal collaboration and external stakeholder interaction.
• Willingness to attend relevant trainings as required.
• Experience in product pricing, actuarial support, and system testing.

Required skills

• UAT testing on insurance platforms (iPos, IL).
• Actuarial product pricing and modeling.
