Accounting Officer

About the role

Aplus Consulting is seeking a full‑time Accounting Officer to join its Phnom Penh office. The role involves preparing, reviewing and maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with Cambodian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review general ledger entries, financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, expense tracking and tax‑related documentation.
• Use accounting software to enter data, monitor transactions and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide financial insights and support audit and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in finance and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in preparing, analyzing and reviewing financial statements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Knowledge of Cambodian tax laws and regulatory requirements (advantageous).
• Excellent analytical, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Effective communication skills and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
