Account Director – Education Sector

About the role

Efekta is seeking an Account Director to lead sales initiatives in the education sector, targeting public schools, private institutions and universities. The role combines strategic account management with policy engagement to expand the adoption of AI‑powered learning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute go‑to‑market plans for public schools, private schools and universities.
• Engage and influence policymakers, regulators, legislators and education administrators.
• Monitor and respond to public policy and regulatory changes, collaborating with lobbyists and internal teams.
• Manage full sales cycles, including prospecting, RFP/RFQ proposal design, negotiation and closure.
• Track KPIs such as new partnerships, revenue growth, sales funnel velocity and policy impact.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of B2G or B2B sales experience.
• Proven ability to close complex, high‑value deals with government and institutional clients.
• Strong network and knowledge of education procurement, budgeting and policy.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑starter with entrepreneurial mindset, resilience and strong ethics.
