Supervisor, Learning & Development

About the role

The Learning & Development Supervisor will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of training programs that enhance employee capabilities and drive operational performance across Chip Mong Supermarket stores and the head office. This role partners with store operations and functional teams to ensure learning initiatives align with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual and monthly training plans based on business and operational needs.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for store and head‑office employees.
• Design and deliver training programs covering store operations, customer service, sales, product knowledge and leadership.
• Create onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
• Support training for store managers, supervisors and future leaders.
• Coordinate with internal trainers and external providers, preparing materials, presentations, activities and assessments.
• Monitor attendance, completion rates and post‑training performance.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate training records and produce monthly L&D reports.
• Assist with career development, succession planning and talent development initiatives.
• Conduct store visits to observe training needs and operational performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, training, HR or retail operations.
• Experience training frontline/store employees is preferred.
• Strong presentation, facilitation and communication abilities.
• Good understanding of retail/store operations and customer service.
• Ability to work across multiple stores and with employees at different levels.
• Fluent in Khmer and English.
