Senior Recruitment Officer

About the role

The Senior Recruitment Officer will lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition for construction and real‑estate development projects, covering both corporate and site‑based positions. Reporting directly to the HR Director, the role combines recruitment strategy, workforce planning and strong stakeholder management to ensure projects are staffed with the right talent on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with project directors and department heads to forecast hiring needs for current and upcoming construction projects.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies for technical, engineering, site‑management and skilled‑trade roles.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, industry networks, agencies and direct sourcing.
• Coordinate with agencies or headhunters for specialised or senior technical positions.
• Track recruitment KPIs (time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, offer acceptance rate) and report to management.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and work‑permit/visa requirements for foreign hires.
• Support employer‑branding initiatives and manage relationships with universities and technical institutes for graduate and apprentice pipelines.
• Prepare and present quarterly and annual recruitment reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience, including at least 1‑2 years in construction, real‑estate or engineering sectors.
• Proven ability to hire both office‑based and site‑based/technical roles.
• Results‑oriented, adaptable and able to manage multiple open roles across concurrent projects.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
