QC Leader – Chinese Speaking (Phnom Penh, Cambodia)

About the role

We are looking for a QC Leader – Chinese Speaking to be based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, reporting directly to the Director of Quality & Technical Operations. This position provides strategic and operational leadership for all Quality Management activities across vendor factories, ensuring products meet customer quality standards, internal requirements, and compliance expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the Cambodia Quality team, aligning with corporate quality strategy and KPIs.
• Oversee all vendor quality operations, ensuring effective quality control systems and adherence to customer requirements.
• Guide and support vendors for quality management execution, driving production readiness, right‑first‑time performance and on‑time delivery.
• Drive vendors to conduct structured root cause analysis (RCA) and implement timely corrective actions (CAP) to prevent recurrence.
• Act as the primary representative during customer visits related to quality and technical matters.
• Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Technical and Compliance teams to manage risks and ensure smooth cross‑functional communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Apparel Manufacturing, Quality Management or Textile Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in apparel quality management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage and influence vendors, drive quality performance improvements and maintain high product quality standards.
• People‑management experience and strong knowledge of quality control systems, RCA methodology and CAPA management.
• Experience handling denims, sweaters and multi‑category apparel.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese; Khmer is a definite advantage.
• Willingness to travel within Cambodia and good computer literacy (MS Office, MS Outlook).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Pivot 888 is a plus.
