Production Manager

About the role

Amrita FMCG District is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead the setup and end‑to‑end execution of a new food manufacturing project in its FMCG and Food Processing Park north of Phnom Penh. Reporting to the Project Lead, you will develop production plans, coordinate facility readiness, and oversee operations to meet quality, cost, output and delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Lead in translating production objectives into facility layouts, process flows and implementation plans.
• Define equipment, utility, material flow, hygiene zoning and operator access requirements; assist in supplier evaluation and procurement.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and trial production, maintaining readiness schedules and escalating risks.
• Develop and implement production plans based on demand forecasts, capacity, material availability and staffing.
• Monitor performance, resolve bottlenecks and adjust resources to achieve targets.
• Establish SOPs, work instructions, batch records and reporting routines.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, Cambodian regulations and company policies.
• Work with Quality Assurance to implement hygiene, sanitation, traceability, allergen and pest controls.
• Support regulatory inspections, customer audits and product recall readiness.
• Prepare and manage production budgets, monitor operating costs and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food manufacturing production management.
• Strong production planning and project management capabilities.
• Hands‑on experience coordinating with equipment suppliers, contractors and QA teams.
• Ability to develop SOPs, train staff and lead a production team.
