Planning Manager – Project Planning Lead

About the role

The Planning Manager will lead project planning and technical functions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, meet technical compliance, and align with business objectives while driving improvements in planning systems and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and standardize project planning systems, including baselines, tracking, reporting, templates, dashboards, and ERP/Power BI tools.
• Control project schedules, track daily/weekly progress, prepare progress reports and dashboards, and highlight risks and delays.
• Prepare and review method statements, work sequences, and construction methodologies, supporting site execution planning.
• Identify project risks, propose mitigation and recovery strategies, and support claim preparation for delays.
• Maintain planning records, ensure document control, and provide data for management reporting.
• Coordinate schedules with procurement, material delivery, QS cost planning, and ensure team delivers accurate, timely outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in construction/project planning, with at least 8 years in a managerial role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, leadership, and decision‑making abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, structured, and able to work under pressure with a result‑oriented mindset.
