Operations Manager

About the role

East Buy is seeking an Operations Manager to lead its daily e‑commerce activities, ensuring smooth order processing, fulfillment, inventory control and customer service coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily e‑commerce operations including order processing, fulfillment, inventory, delivery and customer service coordination.
• Develop and improve operational processes to boost efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor order fulfillment, delivery performance, product availability and operational KPIs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, delivery partners and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, reducing shortages, overstock and discrepancies.
• Lead, supervise and support operations staff, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Establish and enforce standard operating procedures and company policies.
• Identify operational problems and implement solutions to reduce delays, errors and costs.
• Track operational expenses and propose cost‑control measures.
• Prepare regular operational reports and provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, customer service and senior management to support business objectives.
• Handle escalations and urgent operational issues promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations management, e‑commerce, retail or logistics.
• Previous experience supervising or managing a team.
• Strong understanding of e‑commerce operations, order fulfillment, inventory management and logistics.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy.
