Officer, Business and Market Intelligence

About the role

The Officer, Business and Market Intelligence supports the growth of the organisation by identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research and building strong client relationships. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams to translate insights into actionable strategies that expand market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to spot trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Assist in the creation and execution of business development plans and sales strategies.
• Identify new markets, customer segments, and revenue‑generating prospects.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and business reports for management and clients.
• Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to boost brand awareness.
• Monitor business performance and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Management or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing or a related area.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Good analytical and market‑research capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
