About the role
The Network Administration Officer will manage and maintain the bank’s nationwide network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity across all branches and data centers. This role involves both hands‑on technical work and strategic network design to support 24/7 operations.
Key responsibilities
- Install, terminate and test Cat5/Cat6 cabling and other wiring systems in new and existing facilities.
- Design, document and label network layouts, and configure routers, core switches and firewalls.
- Monitor and troubleshoot connectivity across all branches and the production/backup data centers.
- Perform risk assessments, failover/switchover testing and load‑balancing configuration for LAN, WAN and VPN links.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS or a related field.
- Experience in a banking or 24/7 networking environment, with strong knowledge of core network design and security.
Required skills
- Cat5/Cat6 cabling and termination.
- Router, core switch and firewall configuration.
- VPN, LAN/WAN design and implementation.
- Network risk assessment, failover testing and load‑balancing.
