Fiber Utilization and Planning Analyst Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Fiber Utilization and Planning Analyst Engineer to join our Technical team. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and documenting fiber‑optic network infrastructures while supporting network expansion projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑level designs (HLD) for fiber networks including FTTx, backbone, distribution and access.
• Perform feasibility studies, route optimization and capacity analysis.
• Prepare detailed CAD and GIS‑based drawings, schematics and design documentation.
• Capture, validate and update field data from technicians to ensure accurate mapping of existing utility infrastructure.
• Review design outputs for quality, conduct implementation checks and provide technical guidance during construction.
• Maintain accurate records of fiber routes, connectivity, design modifications and project completion reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in fiber network planning or OSP/ISP design, preferably with FTTx/FTTH design experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ArcGIS.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with route optimization tools.
