Logistics Business Development Manager (Sales)

About the role

JD.com is seeking a Logistics Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market presence for its supply chain services. You will work closely with customers to understand their logistics needs and propose tailored solutions that align with JD.com’s 3PL capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet revenue targets.
• Identify, engage, and qualify new customers in the warehousing and distribution sector.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
• Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize profitability while preserving customer satisfaction.
• Record all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Represent JD.com at industry conferences and trade shows.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in supply chain, warehousing, or distribution.
• Deep understanding of 3PL services, supply chain operations, and freight management.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities with a track record of closing deals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement at all levels.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in Korean.
