Investment Analyst

About the role

PROFITENCE is seeking a dynamic Cambodian individual based in Phnom Penh to join its core team as an Investment Analyst. The role requires strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities, combined with a pragmatic approach to support investment decisions across the CLMVT region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and investment analysis of potential opportunities.
• Prepare investment teasers, information memoranda, set up data rooms and related documents.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of economic indicators, industry and market trends.
• Monitor macro‑economic developments and regulatory changes affecting target industries.
• Develop market and industry reports, financial models, projections, business plans and valuation reports.
• Support financial due diligence and strategy development for the investment vertical.
• Participate in team meetings, identify problems and propose solutions.
• Engage with (potential) clients and support ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Good understanding of accounting, finance and investment concepts.
• Open‑minded, positive attitude, self‑motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to manage and guide a young dynamic team, including interns.
• Strong grasp of business strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English and Khmer.
• High level of integrity and ethics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
