Insurance Subject Matter Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for an Insurance Subject Matter Expert to work on an hourly, remote contractor basis. You will review AI‑generated insurance responses, create expert insurance content, and provide precise written feedback on reasoning quality, accuracy, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and gold‑standard outputs for coverage analysis, claims scenarios, underwriting decisions, and policy communication.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve correctness, completeness, clarity, and compliance‑aware reasoning.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, misleading guidance, inappropriate certainty, and bias, ensuring model integrity across use cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Law, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in insurance (claims, underwriting, brokerage, actuarial support, risk management, compliance, or operations).
• Strong understanding of insurance fundamentals, policy structure, endorsements, limits/deductibles, coverage triggers, and ability to evaluate decisions for internal consistency.
