Full-Time Pharmacy Lecturer (Therapeutic Chemistry)

About the role

The University of Puthaisastra is looking for a full-time pharmacy lecturer to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, student-centred theoretical and practical education in line with the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education and Youth Sports pharmacy curriculum. The lecturer prepares course materials, evaluates teaching performance and contributes to pharmacy-related policy.

Key responsibilities

• Review the Therapeutic Chemistry curriculum and the course outlines of Therapeutic Chemistry, Research in Pharmacy II and Hydrology (theory and practice).
• Teach or assist in teaching at least 21 hours per week in Therapeutic Chemistry, Research in Pharmacy II and Hydrology, using standard, evidence-based and up-to-date course outlines.
• Develop standard course outlines, course books and reference books for teaching courses, following MoH and MoEYS guidelines.
• Ensure effective evaluation of lecturers' teaching performance in the Department of Pharmacy.
• Develop research activities related to chemistry (protocols, research centre, personnel, equipment) with internal and external partners.
• Recommend learning and teaching resources to students and lecturers, and help shape pharmacy policy, guidelines and regulations.
• Work with the pharmacy team to strengthen students' and lecturers' knowledge and skills, join faculty working groups and carry out other tasks assigned by the department head.

Required profile

• 3 years of teaching experience in related fields.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in pharmacy, chemistry or an equivalent field.
• Strong English proficiency in reading, speaking, writing and listening.
• Strong communication, leadership and coordination skills; good attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
