Finance Director – Real Estate & Property

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Director to lead the financial function of our real‑estate development business, focusing on condominium and mixed‑use projects. Reporting to the CEO and Board, you will shape strategy, secure financing and ensure robust financial governance across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with short‑ and long‑term development goals.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for corporate operations and individual projects.
• Secure construction financing, equity investments and debt facilities; structure joint ventures and alternative financing models.
• Monitor cash flow, manage liquidity, oversee project pro‑formas, budget tracking and variance analysis.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, development reports and investor updates while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Identify financial risks, implement internal controls, insurance strategies and other mitigation measures.
• Lead, mentor and set performance targets for finance, accounting and development finance teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of senior finance experience in real‑estate development, especially condominium or mixed‑use residential projects.
• Proven track record of securing project financing and managing capital structures.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
