Finance and Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Finance and Procurement Officer to support the Australia Cambodia Partnership for Climate Resilience (ACP4Climate) program in Phnom Penh. The role ensures sound financial management, procurement compliance and operational support for high‑impact development activities. You will work closely with the Finance Specialist, Operations & Grants team and corporate colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day financial operations of an Australian Government‑funded program.
• Process payments, perform reconciliations, prepare financial reports and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate procurement activities, obtain quotations, engage suppliers and manage contracts.
• Maintain procurement and financial documentation to support audits and compliance reporting.
• Monitor programme expenditure, assist with budget tracking and contribute to risk management and internal controls.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance, procurement and operational systems.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented finance or procurement professional with strong analytical abilities.
• Holds a relevant qualification in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.
• Experience in finance, accounting or procurement, preferably within an NGO or development context.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
