Field Application Specialist

About the role

Sika Cambodia, which has served the Cambodian construction market since 2002, is looking for a Field Application Specialist in Phnom Penh. The role supports the team's business development by visiting construction sites and dealer shops, training contractors and applicators, and sharing field insights with marketing and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Visit construction sites and dealer shops regularly and carry out product application and demonstration training.
• Educate contractors and applicators (mainly tilers, masons and painters) to move from site-mix to pre-mixed products.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, applicators and key influencers to support business development.
• Collect feedback on product performance, application practices and customer needs.
• Share field insights with marketing and sales teams to spot emerging trends and opportunities.
• Accompany sales representatives on customer visits when technical support is needed.
• Contribute technical content to product brochures, media content and other communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in technical or civil construction or a similar field; graduates with good skills and a can-do attitude are welcome.
• Good knowledge of construction-finishing products such as tile adhesive, skim coat and plastering, and familiarity with construction materials testing.
• Preferred: fair English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
