Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be based on‑site in Phnom Penh and will lead all financial activities for AGB Consulting’s EoR, RPO, HR Outsourcing & Compliance services. Reporting to senior leadership, the CFO will shape financial strategy, ensure robust reporting, and support the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and cash‑flow management.
• Prepare, review, and present accurate financial statements and analyses.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Advise the Executive Committee and Board on financial implications of business decisions and regulatory changes.
• Develop long‑term financial strategies, resource allocation plans, and five‑year strategic forecasts.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee the Finance & Accounting functions, ensuring timely reporting and performance monitoring.
• Mentor and develop finance team members.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a leadership or CFO role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, audit processes, and corporate governance.
• Proven ability to influence senior management and board members on financial matters.
• Experience managing finance teams and external stakeholder relationships.
