Cashier

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our retail team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions, providing product information, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive and answer product‑related questions.
• Take payments, enter transactions in the cash register, issue receipts and give correct change.
• Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift and maintain adequate cash levels at all checkout counters.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and proactively.
• Perform additional customer‑service duties when needed, including presenting showroom products.
• Maintain a tidy, clean work area and control showroom stock.
• Manage daily cash accounts, prepare petty cash, and compile periodic sales and cash reports.

Required profile

• University student studying Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Previous retail or cash handling experience is preferred.
• Willingness to learn, good personal appearance and a customer‑focused attitude.
