Assistant to Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant to the Maintenance Manager to support procurement, shipment and customs activities for our operations in Phnom Penh. The role will work closely with suppliers, transport agents and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analysis and support management approval.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to track deliveries and service performance.
• Update and maintain supplier, price and contact databases.
• Handle issues such as defects, damages or returns of goods.
• Issue purchase orders, contracts and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or related field.
• 3‑5 years experience in procurement, shipment and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs.
• Familiarity with the power, energy or infrastructure sector is an asset.
• Strong teamwork and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Negotiation and analytical abilities.
