Treasury Manager

About the role

The Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing liquidity, cash flow, funding, banking relationships and financial risk to ensure the company has the resources needed for daily operations and long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assess short‑ and long‑term funding needs, manage credit facilities, loans and overdrafts, and negotiate financing terms.
• Monitor daily cash position, develop cash‑flow forecasts, and optimise cash utilisation across accounts.
• Maintain strong banking relationships, negotiate fees and facilities, and ensure compliance with banking documentation.
• Identify and mitigate foreign‑exchange, interest‑rate and other treasury‑related risks, including hedging where appropriate.
• Lead cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital analysis and scenario planning.
• Ensure accurate treasury transactions, robust controls and segregation of duties.
• Prepare regular treasury reports, support audits and monitor covenant compliance.
• Oversee short‑term investment of surplus cash and manage investment performance.
• Lead and develop the treasury team, collaborating with finance, supply‑chain and commercial functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; Master’s degree or professional qualifications (CTP, CFA, CPA, ACCA, CA) are a plus.
• 5–7 years of treasury or corporate finance experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong experience in cash management, funding, banking facilities and financial risk management.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or beverage companies is advantageous.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and multi‑tasking abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems and/or Treasury Management Systems (TMS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong financial analytical and reporting capabilities.
