Technical Manager

About the role

The Technical Manager leads the engineering team, ensuring technical excellence across all phases of construction projects. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines design coordination, risk mitigation, and on‑site technical support to deliver high‑quality buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical team, providing direction on architectural, structural, civil, MEP and other engineering disciplines.
• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQ and contracts; identify technical risks and propose engineering solutions.
• Support site teams during construction, evaluate methodology and temporary works, and monitor compliance with approved methods.
• Participate in site inspections, technical meetings and resolve construction‑related technical issues.
• Review tender documents, contribute to cost estimation, prepare technical proposals and suggest alternative materials or systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, MEP Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of construction/project experience, preferably in building construction.
• 3–5 years in a technical management or senior engineering position.
• Experience with high‑rise, commercial, residential, hotel or school projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, QA/QC procedures and contract documentation.
