Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will lead the sourcing, purchasing and supplier management activities for our organization, ensuring cost‑effective and high‑quality acquisition of materials, equipment and services. You will act as the main liaison between internal departments and external vendors, driving efficiency and compliance across the procurement process.

Key responsibilities

• Source, compare and evaluate suppliers; prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules; monitor order status and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain an approved vendor list and assess supplier performance on quality, delivery and cost.
• Analyse market trends to identify cost‑saving opportunities and verify that purchased items meet specifications.
• Keep accurate purchasing records, prepare reports for management and ensure audit compliance.
• Coordinate with finance for payments and with warehouse for inventory updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of progressive procurement or purchasing experience; experience in real‑estate or property development is a plus.
• Strong ability to multitask, prioritize under pressure and collaborate across departments.
• Adaptable, professional and proactive with solid problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
