RF Planning and Optimization Engineer

About the role

Huawei Technologies Cambodia is seeking a motivated RF Planning and Optimization Engineer to join its dynamic telecom team. The role focuses on monitoring network performance, planning radio resources across multiple technologies, and delivering optimization solutions to improve coverage and capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor radio performance KPIs and generate regular reports.
• Plan and design radio networks for GSM, UMTS, LTE and 5G NSA (SA) technologies.
• Perform new cell performance tuning, including drive‑test (DT) analysis.
• Analyse cluster performance and propose optimization solutions.
• Optimize parameters to reduce call drops, handover failures and access failures.
• Develop and implement solutions for coverage and capacity enhancement.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of main KPIs for GSM, UMTS, LTE and 5G NSA (SA).
• Good understanding of wireless communication theory and relevant international standards.
• Experience with UMTS and LTE technologies and a willingness to learn 5G.
• Familiarity with radio planning and optimization principles.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Proficient with PC and office applications.
