About the role

The Rural Development Bank and Agriculture (ARDB) is seeking experienced professionals to join its credit department as Senior Credit Officers for small and medium enterprise (SME) lending. You will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, conducting field visits, and ensuring compliance with the bank's credit policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review loan applications, explain credit policies to clients, and assess eligibility.
• Conduct on‑site visits to gather accurate business information and evaluate collateral.
• Prepare detailed credit reports, risk assessments, and recommendation letters for loan approval.
• Assemble and maintain complete loan documentation, including loan agreements and related contracts.
• Monitor borrowers' loan usage, track delinquent accounts, and produce regular credit performance reports.
• Update and archive all credit files, maintaining a comprehensive credit history for each client.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in credit analysis or loan assessment.
• Strong problem‑solving, negotiation, and team‑leadership abilities.
• Good knowledge of banking regulations and financial statement analysis.
• High integrity, diligence, and professional ethics.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Effective use of email communication.
• Strong command of English for reading, writing and speaking.
