Legal Compliance and Admin Executive

About the role

The Legal Compliance and Admin Executive will oversee the full spectrum of legal contract management, corporate compliance, and regulatory licensing for a retail operation in Cambodia while providing essential office administration support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the contract lifecycle: prepare, review, coordinate, sign, file, and track lease, service, HR, and commercial agreements, identifying legal and commercial risks.
• Support corporate compliance by handling company registration changes, director/shareholder updates, license maintenance, and statutory filings with authorities and consultants.
• Oversee licensing and regulatory compliance for retail operations, including store opening/closure permits, product and advertising approvals, and monitoring renewal deadlines.
• Conduct basic legal research on Cambodian law, produce summaries and checklists, and assist the Legal Manager in delivering practical advice and risk mitigation.
• Assist in dispute and claim handling by gathering evidence, preparing case summaries, coordinating with internal teams and external counsel, and tracking issue status.
• Maintain legal databases, contract and license trackers, and prepare regular legal status reports and audit support.
• Provide office administration support: manage supplies, courier, notarization, meeting logistics, and document handling.
• Administer document management: filing, scanning, copying, and ensuring easy retrieval of both physical and electronic records.
• Coordinate with internal departments in Cambodia and Vietnam and external parties such as landlords, suppliers, and authorities to follow up on approvals and signatures.
• Support payment and procurement admin: prepare payment and purchase requests, follow up with finance, and keep records of admin expenses.
