General Practitioner

About the role

Royal Group Wellness is seeking a full‑time General Practitioner to join its on‑site primary care team in Phnom Penh. You will deliver comprehensive, patient‑centered medical services, ranging from acute care to chronic disease management, while supporting preventive health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient examinations, obtain medical histories and diagnose conditions.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Coordinate care with nursing staff and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide health education, counseling and preventive services to individuals and families.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records in line with clinical protocols.
• Participate in case discussions, quality‑improvement activities and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a valid license to practice as a General Practitioner.
• Strong clinical knowledge in medicine and primary care, preferably with experience in family medicine or community‑based settings.
• Commitment to ethical, non‑discriminatory, patient‑centered care.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Khmer language proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage a caseload and adapt to diverse patient needs.
