Associate – COO Office (6‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking a motivated Associate to support the Chief Operating Officer’s Office for a six‑month period. Working closely with the Chief of Staff to the COO and cross‑functional teams, the Associate will gain insight into strategic global‑health initiatives and contribute to high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis, research and synthesis to produce insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Support project management activities, including tracking timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with finance, human resources, program and country teams to gather information and coordinate efforts.
• Prepare briefing materials, presentations and reports for senior leadership.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of operational metrics and performance dashboards.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Interest in global health and experience in a nonprofit or international development setting is a plus.
